This is how you use AI as tool.

I’m glad it resonated with you. :)

I agree, I think AI can be a great supplementary tool to assist with creative tasks, not to replace the human input in writing or art

No, AI doesn’t enchant someone’s writing, it’s sucks the data out of them and, then sells them to advertisers, steals your work.

Yeah I don't think AI can take one's writing to the next level. It's only as good as you.

The blank page problem and writer’s block are what I am suffering from these days. I used to write long essays and articles, but now I often find myself unable to build a well-structured paragraph.

AI is helping me in the same way it did for Vara. I simply narrate my thoughts—fragmented sentences and scattered ideas—and it organizes them into a clear, logical structure that flows smoothly.

As long as you’re it to structure your thoughts better, I guess it’s a good tool for that. Of course, it’s not a replacement for actual thinking.

I've had a read and a comment 😊

I can relate to Vara's story. AI can be a useful sound wall, but for a good piece you must know the shape of what you want to write.by shape I mean the essence. I can find it is good for going, absolutely not that, or ok, I like that idea, how does it connect to my own.

From an approach of applied neuroscience, I would be really interested to see how Vara's approach to writing I. This instance impacts neuroplastisity, and our development or dismantling of creative analytical skills. I may need to check out Google Scholar later. 😊

It was also useful to hear writer's approach pre modern technology.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Yeah, it’s a good tool for refining our thoughts, not a replacement of thinking.

Great articles, part 1 and 2. I have struggled with this when writing my poetry. I write a piece and ask Claude to comment and edit. I go over the edits and change what I don't agree with. I must say though, I am writing my first book and when I was close to completing it, I brought Claude in. Now while I appreciate the format suggested, somehow I feel I have lost the authentic feeling I set out to convey.

I think the book and poetry should really come from you, and should say your truth. If you feel you're losing authenticity by using Claude, you should take a step back and think about what's coming authentically to you.

“as though I were excavating an essay instead of crafting one.” is so relatable.

AI can help but only to an extent. It cannot carry your voice, your emotions that you would like to add to a piece.

It sure is a great tool to help restructuring and help at parts where you might get stuck. Great article!

Thanks Aanchal. I think AI can only do so much. Good writing will always come from within.

I write persuasive speeches (kids) for competitions. This is 100% accurate. I use it as a guidance tool
